Since its establishment, the Taiwan Association of Botanical Art (TABA) has been dedicated to promoting botanical art that blends scientific rationality with artistic sensibility. Through years of deep cultivation and accumulation, the "Plantae Documentary—Contemporary Botanical Art Show," organized by TABA and co-curated by the Taipei Botanical Garden, has risen to become one of the premier botanical art events in Asia. We have not only built a cross-regional dialogue platform for creators, but also allowed botanical art to shine with a unique brilliance amidst the contemporary art wave in Taiwan.

In 2027, the Plantae Documentary will enter its fifth exhibition. Continuing our past approach of expressing scientific botanical narratives through art, and to welcome the completion of the Taiwan Coastal Botanical Garden, the theme for "TABA Plantae Documentary 2027" will be "Coastal Plants."
